About
Hi, I’m Arjun Mohan. I’m a senior studying Management Information Systems at San Diego State University. This past summer I was a Product Management Intern at Cisco, where I built an internal AI tool grounded in official product documentation. This blog is where I think out loud about what I’m learning.
What this blog is about
My generation is entering a working world that AI is reshaping in real time. The roles we are preparing for may look very different by the time we step into them. The products we use every day are changing how we pay attention, what we believe, and how we connect. And a relatively small number of companies are deciding what all of that will look like.
The question I keep coming back to is: what does a meaningful career look like when AI can do a growing share of entry-level work?
I write about three areas:
- AI and the future of work: what is actually changing, who benefits, who gets left out, and how to prepare
- Technology and society: how the products we use shape the way we live, think, and relate to one another
- Startups and products: why some ideas win, and what that reveals about where things are headed
Who I’m writing for
Students and early-career professionals trying to figure out where they fit in an industry that AI is rewriting, and anyone further along who is willing to share what they are seeing from where they sit. If you are hiring, building, or studying in this space, your perspective is exactly what I am hoping to hear.
Why you should comment
I approach every topic as someone who is still learning in public. Most posts end with a question, and I genuinely want your answer, especially if you disagree. The comments are where the real conversation happens, and I reply to every one.
